It was take a day off work kind of day

i took a personal day today, and stayed home from work.

 my morning consisted of laying in bed with my three loves until nine am. cooking breakfast while hudson played in his jumper and my husband got ready for work. and then taking a nap with hudson on the couch for over an hour.

 i have three loads of laundry sprawled across my floor unfolded, 

and the remains from breakfast are scattered over the kitchen counter. i thought for a moment about laying him down in his crib to get stuff done, but then realized i needed the cuddles more. i have been having an extremely hard time leaving hudson lately, so i was in need of this morning. 

Whiting Christmas Bash

my grandpa started our annual Christmas party a few years ago. i look forward to this party every year. we started the night out with food and then played our annual bingo. my great grandma was the first to one to get bingo. she is so dang cute. hudson did what he does best laid on the floor and was mesmerized by the christmas lights. at the end of the night me, my little sister, and mom were admiring my grandmas vintage ornaments. he let all three of us pick one out. i chose an old baby carriage that said babies first christmas. i had yet to find an ornament for hudson this year so it was perfect.
