I am a documenter! My cedar chest is full of journals from when I was a little girl. I even have one with a lock and all! I didn't just share happy memories in them either. I would often write when I was sad or mad. I went through some tough things as a little girl that I never talked about. Now looking back writing in my journal was my voice that at times I didn't feel like I had. I have continued to keep a journal on and off since then. A friend of mine whom I adore is the ultimate journal writer of all journal writers. She inspired me and I followed in her footsteps. I started carrying around a little journal with me along with a pen and would constantly write notes in it. I love that journal! I had it with me right after my husband and I got married and on the way to our reception in the car I wrote down as much as I could remember from our sealing! I treasure that journal and am so grateful for it! I have become even more of an avid documenter since my little boy was born in August of 2013. I am constantly taking pictures and trying to keep up on the writing!
You will never look back on your documenting and say "I wish I wouldn't of spent the time documenting my life story!" Thats just my opinion anyways! :)
