Going back to August.
I started working full time teaching kindergarten! Ahhh whoever knew working full time was so hard. I never cook, clean or do laundry anymore. (well until I absolutely have to!) Kindergartners suck every bit of life out of you. I love my job though! They say the funniest stuff. I had a boy ask me the other day if I knew what cholesterol was. I told him yes but hoped he would not ask me to explain it to him. Luckily he explained it to me and was actually right on!
Jordan Is doing so good with work and school. He finished his first real quarter as a banker being the fourth banker in this district. which is really good! The bank he works at also got robbed! He was in the break room when it happened. Once we knew all was well and doing what my family does best, we joked all day about Jordan and the situation. I know sounds bad but it was hilarious! This is a picture of the guy. He dressed up for the occasion.
One of my best friends got home from her mission in August. A week later I took her to the Leann Rimes concert. It was a blast!
Rodeo time! I LOVE the Rodeo. We attended Friday and Saturday night.
Baby Gracie. She is the CUTEST little girl. My good friend just adopted her from Ethiopia. My friend is the biggest inspiration to me. I love her! She is the one who I adventured to Haiti with. I am truly inspired by her experience with her adoption. I hope (will) to one day follow in her footsteps. After my experience in Haiti I know without a doubt its something I want to do one day! Second night at the rodeo!
Slowly but surely we are fixing up our house. This is kind of a before picture but its missing the two huge ugly bushes that were in this area. We removed them and are replacing them with pavers. Sooo much better. The space opened up completely
Still a work in progress! Not finished yet.We LOVE playing games. We play them with friends and by ourselves all the time! Some of our favorites right now. Canasta and Ticket To Ride aka trains.
