Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas

First stop: HALLOWEEN!
We had a pumpkin carving party with a few friends from high school over at our house. It was a blast. The best part was when the boys were getting their photo taken on the stairs. Hilarious!

For years now I have been wanting to dress up as Cindy Lou Hoo and the Grinch. My first problem was I never had anyone to be the Grinch and the second problem I never did anything too exciting for Halloween. This was the year that all changed. After a lot of convincing Jordan agreed to do it with me. I was so excited about this costume!!!

Some of our friends in our ward had a Halloween party. It was a blast!

For one of the games they asked for the "strongest, toughest" men to come play. Of course Jordan went and played. :) They had an Caramel Apple eating contest. There was a trick though, underneath all of that caramel was an onion. The boys started chomping into the "apple" and it was an ONION. It took Jordan two big chomps to realize what it was. Funny!
                          The whole crew!

This is the only picture I have from Thanksgiving. We had it with all of my dads side of the family. The family is so big we had to do it at the church. After food, gift game, and dessert we played a game of Kick ball. Adults against the kids. Fun times!

                                                                                                       CHRISTMAS

Our very first Christmas Tree!!! We decided to put it up on Thanksgiving day! I was SO excited about putting it up! We got it out of the box and started setting up and were shocked. The tree was tiny and not very full. At first I was a little dissapointed but once we got it all decorated I loved it!! It fits perfectly in our home!

For my sisters birthday we got her tickets to the Eric Dodge Christmas concert. She loves him! It was a very entertaining concert. We all enjoyed it!

We went and saw the live nativity with our really good friends Josh and Lexi and their little boy Mckay.

                         Love this picture!

Gingerbread houses! These things are a mess to make! Its been a long time since I had made one! Jordan was hilarious! He was so particular about his. He did everything just right with it. Mine on the other hand had frosting and candy pretty much everywhere! We did these on Christmas eve day! Fun new tradition for us! (I got a legit camera on Black Friday so below are all my experiments with the new camera! I LOVE and am obsessed with it! Still trying to figure it all out though!)

Christmas EVE!!! Christmas eve is my FAVORITE!!! Every year we do a party with my Grandpa! We have a blast every year! Below is a picture of the whole family minus Jon.

Here are just a few of the highlights from the night!

Grandma hit Chad because he farted.
We are ALL over in the corner trying to get away from the smell!
                 Great Grandma Whiting and Savana

                       My Mom and Dad!

BINGO! My grandpa started the tradition of playing Bingo. Its a blast. He has prizes and Money for those who win. This year was not the year for the adults all the kids were the winners!

Christmas Eve pajamas. The Grinch very fitting mom!:)

                         Christmas Morning!

This Picture is Hilarious! He just opened his Ipod touch!

             Jordan and Trever playing games!
We went to church with my family that morning! I loved being able to go to church on Christmas. It was nice to have that hour to get away from the "Christmas" and remember the Savior. They didn't just do the normal Christmas sacrament. They had people tell about their real life experiences and how they related to the Saviors experiences. Very well put together!

I love Christmas! So many fun memories are built. I love all of the decorations and especially the lights! I love being able to reflect more on the Savior and His Birth. I love the traditions. I pretty much love it all!
