DI transformations

I am so excited to show these two projects I just finished! I purchased the frames and the dresser/cabinet at the DI. I was stoked about my findings because I have been looking for a cabinet type thing to go in this particular spot in my house and have had no such luck until now! It was exactly what I was looking for! Love when that happens! Here are the pictures of the before!

Here is the AFTER

I am still learning how to make my spray paint go on even!:) I am a beginner at this. Some of the stuff I do it works really well and then other things not so good like this cabinet. I still am in love with it though! I painted the handles three different colors and finally liked this yellow! I tried putting a glaze over it but was unhappy with the look of it so maybe eventually. The glaze helps cover up the uneven spray paint!:) I almost forgot the most important part the total costs of my projects. Cabinet $8 + paint (I used to cans) $7 a total of FIFTEEN DOLLARS... Picture frams $1 each. ( I already had one of them) paint $3 total of FIVE DOLLARS...

  1. Love it! The 2 colors look great together! I had the same problem with the spray paint going on even.. Priming works wonders. Kilz spray primer is the best and the only way to go!!
