Here is a little recap of what has happened this past year! We survived planning a wedding, going through with the wedding, Jordan starting online school, he also went from a teller to a banker @ his job, (this has entailed him being gone A LOT ), buying a house, family family family, and me making it through my first year of teaching!!! So much has happened over the past little while and oh what good things and oh what hard things...
We bought a home in Bristol Park in Washington. We absolutely love it! The hardest part for me has been adjusting to a family ward...... I still to this very day miss, with a big portion of my heart, the previous ward I attended! I have never before in my life been apart of a ward that I loved and felt so strongly about before, but I was stretched to my capacity there and had reached a place of comfort! I know NO growth can come from comfort so here I am feeling like a fish out of water! But how great it is knowing the gospel remains true no matter where you may be!
TEACHING: I feel like the luckiest first year teacher out there! My students were amazing along with their parents. The best part is I am now done until august! YEAH I have to share this just because its so CUTE. For mothers day I put together a recipe book for the students parents. Its their favorite recipes their moms cook told in their own words. One of the little girls said: She makes me lots of good stuff. I don't know it's kind of hard to choose cause she is so good at cooking. she always knows the right creations to use. Homemade apple sauce okay well first she spills all her apples then takes the core out and swirls them into pieces and fires them and then puts on spices. pumpkin spices and then its done!
Another boy said: Chicken nuggets... She takes the chicken and kills it and then roasts it and then cuts it into little shapes.Kindergartners are amazing!!!! I love my job and am so thankful for it!!!! These are the kiddos. I am sure going to miss them!
